Longtime Owner Occupants Program (LOOP)

Verified · October 23, 2026 Deadline soon — check dates

LOOP is a Real Estate Tax assistance program for longtime Philadelphia homeowners whose property assessment rose sharply. It places a cap on your home’s assessment and locks in that capped assessment for as long as you remain eligible, so your future Real Estate Tax bills stay the same unless tax rates change. The City page states it is now accepting applications for 2026, due by September 30, 2026.

Organization
City of Philadelphia Department of Revenue
