Pennie is Pennsylvania’s official health insurance marketplace and the only source of financial help (federal premium tax credits) to lower the cost of high-quality private health insurance plans. Pennie’s annual Open Enrollment Period runs from November 1 to January 15; December 15 is the deadline for coverage that begins January 1. Outside Open Enrollment, you can enroll during a Special Enrollment Period if you have a Qualifying Life Event such as losing health coverage, getting married, having a baby, or moving.
