PECO Customer Assistance Program (CAP / CAP-PIPP)

Verified · October 23, 2026 Deadline soon — check dates

PECO’s Customer Assistance Program has been converted to a Percentage of Income Payment Plan (CAP-PIPP), so participating customers pay a percentage of their total household income as a fixed monthly PECO bill. PECO charges whichever is less, the fixed CAP-PIPP amount or charges based on actual usage. For first-time CAP-PIPP enrollees, the past-due balance may be forgiven in 12 parts, with 1/12 forgiven for each month paid in full and on time.
