PA MEDI

Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight (PA MEDI) is Pennsylvania’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). It provides free, unbiased, confidential, personalized Medicare help from specially trained certified counselors delivered through Pennsylvania’s 52 local Area Agencies on Aging. Counselors help with Original Medicare, Medigap, Medicare Advantage plans, prescription drug plans, enrollment, Medicare rules, notices and billing concerns, Medicare financial assistance programs, appeals, long-term care insurance, and coordination of benefits. PA MEDI does not sell or recommend Medicare insurance products, agents, or brokers.
