Organization: Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW)
Who qualifies: Low-income PGW customers facing utility termination or whose service has been terminated. Per PGW's PUC filing: eligibility at or below 175% of the Federal Poverty Level, no UESF assistance in the past 24 months, and applicants must apply for LIHEAP Cash and Crisis first if LIHEAP is open.
Income limits: At or below 175% of the Federal Poverty Level (PGW PUC filing). PGW matches UESF grants with a credit of up to about $750; the UESF grant and the PGW credit combined are capped at $1,500 and must eliminate the amount due.
