The Matching Energy Assistance Fund (MEAF) is PECO’s hardship program. It provides emergency financial assistance to low-income residential customers in PECO’s service territory who are facing a temporary hardship with bill payment, and it is funded primarily by customer contributions that PECO matches dollar for dollar upon award of a MEAF grant. The program runs year-round.
